The new “Give Green” Gift Card

Macerich, one of the USA’s largest owners, operators and developers of major
retail properties, will introduce the “Give Green” Gift Card, in partnership with
American Express. Really new in the shopping center industry, the idea is that
each purchase of a Give Green Gift Card will benefit the nation’s non profit citizen
conservation organisation, called American Forest. A slightly increased fee for
the card allows Macerich to package the card with 30 percent post-consumer recycled
materials, as well as covers the cost of the donation to American Forests. Macerich is committed to donate at least $100,000 to the organization to support
its mission to plant and preserve trees and forests across the United States.
